Through Digitaraya, Google Developers Launchpad is providing Wahyoo with technical resources and access to expert mentors. Wahyoo is a startup that helps modernize food kiosks, or “wartegs” as they are known in Indonesia, by digitizing small businesses and enabling them to run faster.

Halosis was part of Digitaraya’s AI batch. Thanks to Digitaraya, Halosis was connected to relevant industry partners and given access to technical resources and expert mentors. Halosis provides virtual assistance services (chatbot) to 3,000 SMEs or online sellers in Indonesia, which can process business orders and other management tasks in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Aside from its chatbot, the company also uses text analytics, NLP, machine learning, and image recognition to cater to customer needs.

As part of its commitment to advocate and advance more women leaders, Simona Ventures — a platform that provides access and opportunities to empower businesses and initiatives that solve the gender gap challenges — we have organized the second batch of all women-founders accelerator program in October 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Simona Accelerator APAC Women Founders invited 10 women-led startups from countries across the APAC region. They participated in a week-long program, provided mentoring sessions to help women founders understand Indonesia’s startup ecosystem, and ended with a demo day at Gojek office.

In collaboration with Digitaraya, BCA launched an accelerator program, SYNRGY Accelerator, to offer 8 selected fintech startups a customized curriculum, access to Digitaraya & Google’s global networks & local investors, 1:1 mentoring, corporate partnerships opportunities, connection with relevant regulators and media coverage. The accelerator program was launched on 21 March 2019 at SYNRGY Innovation Hub, a fintech hub where startups & the fintech community will collaborate to solve the country’s challenges by leveraging the power of digital.

Digitaraya Powered by Google Developers Launchpad’s third batch focused on startups in the FMCG sector. The bootcamp consisted of leadership workshops, company valuation, legal consulting, and 1:1 mentoring with Digitaraya’s partners including Google, McKinsey & Company and UBS. The FMCG Demo Day was hosted at the offices of McKinsey & Company in Jakarta.

In conjunction with the International Women’s Day, Simona held their first APAC Women Founders Accelerator program. It was attended by 12 women-led startups from countries across the APAC region. They participated in a week-long program consisting of a three-day bootcamp and immersion activities in the Indonesian ecosystem, followed by a demo day, and ended with optional 1:1 meetings with potential partners on the last day.

Digitaraya Powered by Google Developers Launchpad’s second batch focused on startups working with AI. The 5 selected startups were mentored by teams from Google Cloud, McKinsey & Company and UBS, and followed sessions led by leading AI startup Kata.ai. Their Demo Day was hosted as part of the UBS Indonesia Conference, where they had the opportunity to pitch to an audience of over 100 of UBS’ corporate clients.

NYALA Energy Acceleration 2019 was a program which worked with 8 energy startup teams to further their engagement with investors and players within the energy ecosystem.
